Title: Customer Services Supervisor
Description: The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for managing a Key Account Management team with Cambridge University Press. They are directly accountable for customer satisfaction and enhancing the customer experience through enthusiastic coaching and development of cross-site teams. The individual will work closely with sales teams, line managers, and global partners to gain buy-in for the key account management strategy and position. They will also work to train and develop their global customer service team partners to ensure delivery of excellent quality and service. The Customer Service Supervisor demonstrates strong leadership skills, product knowledge, escalation resolution, and order life-cycle development with a high degree of operational effectiveness.
Requirements: You must be able to handle any and all communication in a friendly, polite and positive manner to ensure that each interaction is treated with the required level of importance and handled in the appropriate way. You must be able to build and manage employee capacity, support their professional development, review and assess performance, and enable employees to optimize their contribution to the department.

You will be an efficient and self-motivated individual who is able to provide an excellent service to our customers and internal contacts globally.

With this in mind, we are looking for someone who can interact with people at all levels and remain approachable in a pressured environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in a customer services environment, preferably within a publishing environment, an excellent telephone manner, and make a positive impact on the global team. You must be able to think independently in your role, while still collaborating with your peers and leaders.
